Current Tune: The Sailor's Wife

This is actually a Scottish Jig and, I normally wouldn't have selected it to learn; however, I'm a bit of what you might call a science fiction geek. In the running of a short-lived series called "Firefly" (which I highly recommend for anyone to watch, along with the major motion picture that spawned due to its fanbase, almost three years after it's cancellation "Serenity"), there was an episode called "Safe" in which the prodigal, yet somewhat-leaky-in-the-brainpan character River came across a town celebration and this tune was being played.

I enjoyed the tune immensely as I listened to it and this is becoming a fun addition to my local session's repertoire.
